By using DroppaPop, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy.

Information collection

When you open DroppaPop, the app creates an anonymous identifier so your library can follow you across sessions on the same device. We store the messages you write, the songs we generate from them (titles, lyrics, and the 30-second audio file), the vibe and voice you picked, and a short token for each song you choose to share. Your messages are sent to third-party AI services for processing.

You can optionally back up your library so it follows you to a new device. If you choose to back up, we link your anonymous identifier to the sign-in identifier the operating system provides.

We also collect anonymised usage information (such as which features you use and when) to help us improve the app.

Service providers

We use third-party services to operate the app, including for hosting, data storage, and AI-generated songs. These services may access your information solely to perform their functions and have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and analytics

DroppaPop uses analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. Our websites and app may use cookies and similar technologies to support analytics and functionality.

Data security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures, but cannot guarantee absolute security of electronic data.

Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. When you tap Delete my account in the Profile screen, your messages, songs, and share tokens are permanently removed immediately. Anonymised, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for service improvement. This data cannot be linked back to you in any way.

Sharing

When you choose to share a song, we generate a public link that plays the song. Anyone with the link can listen.

Children's privacy

DroppaPop is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of DroppaPop after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
